First use the Professional Molecular Repair Hair Mist before the mask. You cannot overuse K18 products, so there is no worry about using the correct amount per client.

  1. Shampoo, do not condition.
  2. Towel dry thoroughly.
  3. Part hair into equal sections. Begin with 1 pump of K18 Mask and add more as needed depending on length, thickness, and condition. Work evenly into hair from ends to roots, one pump at a time.
  4. Let sit for 4 minutes to activate. Do NOT rinse out.
  5. Style as usual.
  6. If cutting, you may start right away.
  7. If toning, use K18 Mask then apply toner over K18 Mask. Process as usual. Rinse/shampoo toner, towel-dry thoroughly. Reapply K18 Mask as per instructions above. Style as usual.
  8. Clients can also take home the leave-in molecular hair repair mask to continue treatment at home between services

  • Use K18 Mist and K18 Mask on all hair types
  • Use K18 Mist before all chemical services
  • Mist the hair with water prior to applying K18 Mist
  • Wait the full 4 minutes before beginning your chemical process
  • Process chemical service as usual
  • Dry hair thoroughly with a towel before applying K18 Mask
  • Use K18 Mask before and after toning
  • Wait the full 4 minutes before styling or adding additional products (If cutting, you can cut right away)
  • Add a leave-in conditioner after the 4 minutes if hair feels like it needs moisture
  • Use a heat protectant if heat styling hair
  • Send your client home with K18 Mask to continue hair strengthening between salon visits
  • Use K18 Mask as a strengthening treatment prior to cutting, even when no chemical service is taking place
