Damage Undo

Specialized formulas for long hair

Hair is more than just a style statement – it’s a representation of our identify, character and self-expression. The way we style, shape and customize our hair showcases our personality.

When it comes to expression through our hair, long hair is the choice for the majority of women. The “flowing” nature of long hair represents elegance, confidence and freedom.

The beauty of long hair bears a price – it is harder to care for and maintain. Entire rituals and routines have been developed to keep long hair looking its best. Damage Undo® is the first product line specifically formulated for long hair. Worry less about the condition of the hair, and rather let hair become a canvas for creativity.

Why is long hair harder to manage? To preserve its beauty and elegance, this hair is subjected to more stressors: heat from dryers and straighteners, chemicals for colouring and bleaching treatments, excessive brushing, and environmental elements like humidity and pollution. The Damage Undo® range seeks to repair damage from these stressors and ensure hair is healthy and protected.

Signs of hair damage:

  • Excessive hair shedding
  • Hair feels and looks dry
  • Split ends
  • No elasticity or flexibility
  • Inability to form curls
  • Easily forms tangles
  • Porous hair
  • Inability to style and manage
  • No shine or lustre
  • Colour looks drab or wrong

Effects of processing hair

Balanced lipid balance, sealed cuticles, natural strength

Weakened lipid layer, swollen cuticles, weakened internal structure

Destroyed lipid layer, highly compromised or lost cuticle, damaged internal structure

Introducing the clinically proven Keraboost™ Technology

Most hair repair brands use silicone to cover the cuticles and create a coating, passing it off as real damage repair. This is not the case with Damage Undo®. It is now possible to restore the internal and external physiological structure of the hair. This exclusive formula conducts a three-step rehabilitation process on damaged hair to return it to its best shape and health. Damage Undo® works on all types of hair and levels of damage.

Deeply repairs hair without using animal keratin. Uses special vegetable proteins and peptides to strengthen the hair externally and internally.

Vegetable butters and oils provide natural protection, both internally and externally. Hair is made stunningly shiny with its conditioning effect.

Cuticles are closed the natural way, and stay closed until the hair is next exposed to stressors. This is down thanks to special fruit acids.

Why is colouring so hard to get right?

Professionals understand that hair colour quickly changes and fades after a service, no matter the brand. Colours look lighter, less vibrant, and discoloration is common, like blondes turning yellow. Not only that, but the hair’s condition suffers too. For a long time after a service, the hair continues to process and become more and more damaged, and colour looks even worse!

This happens because the reaction between the hydrogen peroxide (inside developer) and the amines (inside colour cream) or persulfate (inside bleach) is a chain reaction. Once it has started, it only finishes when every molecule of oxygen is consumed. It is hard to stop this oxidation process because oxygen in the air and water continuously feeds it.

What do you do about this? Rinsing with water does not stop the oxidation process. Not even a traditional post-colour shampoo or mask solves the problem, no matter its pH level. Just closing the cuticles does not extinguish all the oxygen molecules inside the hair shafts. The only way to solve this problem is to completely neutralize the hydrogen peroxide and block the action of all persulfates.

To solve this age-old problem, Damage Undo® has released the Stop & Lock Colour Preserver. This is the first and only product that stops oxidation and blocks persulfates, resulting in long-lasting colour and less yellowing of blondes. It’s time to protect colour intensity and vibrancy, make colour last longer with brighter tones, and keep hair better and stronger. In clinical tests, there was a 53% improvement in colour longevity, and hair looked and felt healthier.
