What sets Danger Jones semi-permanent colours apart from other brands is their consistency and vibrancy. The colours are highly pigmented, bold and gutsy – even the pastel shades.
Deeper tones can last up to 40 washes; lighter tones up to 20. And they’re all designed to fade into lighter versions of themselves.
Danger Jones semi-permanent colours are used straight from the tubes and applied directly to clean, dry hair. The creamy, velvety viscosity makes them easy to apply and saturate the hair, giving full coverage with less product.
Hair is left to process at room temperature for 35 minutes – no heat – and rinsed without shampoo in cool water. Simple.

Danger Jones also now offers a selection of high-quality conditioning Gloss Toners with Bonder to create beautiful toning colours. The Gloss Toners process in just 10 minutes or less without compromising the pigment, colour depth and shine.
Again, they have a unique creamy consistency that makes them easy to apply, comb through and control. These toners stay in place – no dripping. Blending two colours is seamless, with no harsh lines.
Each Gloss Toner contains a plant-based bonder that protects and strengthens hair, reducing breakage. Chia seed oil reduces colour fading, and apple cider vinegar improves shine.

Danger Jones was launched in April 2023 in Los Angeles by David and Alexis Thurston. Their mission was to develop a hair colour brand for artists and to build a community connected through creating art from hair colour.
Danger Jones is all about its impact on the world. As such, all products are highly sophisticated and developed to be supremely gentle on all hair types, while also being totally vegan and cruelty-free.
As true creative visionaries, the Thurstons thought not just about the hair products but how they are presented, collaborating with artists to produce highly unique, individual packaging covers for each semi-permanent colour.
It’s no surprise that this power couple are not new to the business. They cofounded hair dye company Pulp Riot, which L’Oréal purchased in 2018, and own a salon in Los Angeles.
