Up the hygiene factor

Maintaining manicure hygiene is very important for any nail professional. The nail and cuticle area are hotbeds for bacteria formation, and mistreatment of hygiene steps can cause to infection or a dangerous environment for clients and professionals.

Before a manicure treatment, it is important to establish hygiene protocols. This can be washing hands, spraying disinfectant and other forms of sterilization. Tools needed during the service also need to be cleansed of any lingering bacteria. This helps protect the client from bacteria on their own bodies, as well as any airborne nasties they may come into contact with.
